Looking Back to Move Forward: Searching for Our Identity

14 students from California State University Fullerton traveled to Guadalajara, Mexico for 8 days to reconnect and expand their Latin roots and culture. Professor Julian Jefferies partnered with Fm4 Paso Libre, a migrant shelter where students interacted with Central American migrants on their trip to the United States border. Through the Mexican perspective, they were able to analyze the profound transnational migration problem.
